Can ExpressVPN Unblock Netflix? 2023

Today, I will show you how to use ExpressVPN to unblock Netflix, particularly, the U.S. and the UK libraries.

I’ll check some shows first that are only available if you are in a certain Netflix library. In short, the shows that you can only watch if you are located in that specific country. Here’s a list of some geo-based shows on Netflix and for this tutorial, we’ll just use the U.S. and U.K. versions of The Office as I want to show how ExpressVPN works in unblocking the U.S. and UK libraries.

First, I searched for American Assa  ssin but both versions are not showing up in the results as my original server is in the Philippines. Now, let’s do the magic by connecting to the ExpressVPN U.S. server. Going back to Netflix, American Assassin U.S. version is now available here unlike before and I can even watch it without any lag. When I connected to the UK server instead and searched for American Assassin, it now shows the UK version and just like the U.S. version, this show doesn’t seem to buffer at all.

Then, I disconnected from ExpressVPN to see my original speed which is now at 27 megabits per second. This means that the speed difference is not that much and the percentage reduction is only at 18 percent which isn’t bad at all, most especially when it comes to its impact on streaming.
